Despite Judy getting up way too early in the morning, we had a good breakfast from MCDonalds and Judy topped it off with a Starbucks coffee. It was right next to MCDonalds (Imagine that ).
Topped off the tank and started our journey for the second day.
Even though the temperature was much nicer in the negative single digits, the roads seemed worse. It was a heavy slush with ice for the first 3 hours of driving. Hwy 95 was the worst. Then as we merged onto Hwy 90 it was still a little slushy, but the ice was minimal.
Once we turned on to 395, I was able to travel at highway speed with the cruise control on (FINALLY).
We made better timing and could have pushed farther than Connell Washington, but it was nice finishing early.
We are staying at the M&M Motel. We have stayed here several times in the past years. It was where Judy and I would meet with items we were taking to Canada. Last time I brought up a pair of SeaDoos and met her at the M&M.
Loaded the trailer on her rig, stayed the night and she went to Canada and I back to Orland, California.
The M&M is still the same. Very friendly staff and now next door is a Mexican Restaurant. It was a Family restaurant before, which was not bad.
Here is a picture of our rig.
She is pretty dirty and squats just a little, not too bad. I was not able to fill our Air Ride bags prior to leaving as it was way too cold and could damage the Air Rides. Tomorrow, I should be able to level the rear and get a little better pull with less bounce.
